A bit of IDS history
The school is local to Ingleby Barwick
The school was established on the estate in 2004, the school has since its early beginnings grown from strength to strength.
Teaching various styles of dance, drama, singing and musical theater.
On top of dance, the Ingleby Dance School passes on valuable life skills to its pupils. Teaching them about mental well being, gratitude, awareness and mindfulness.
The pupils learn to understand commitment, team work, social skills, building relationships and making new friends. In most cases, friends for life.
Performing is our passion
IDS is a non competitive school where performing is the main focus, everyone gets their time in the spotlight, either singing, acting, dancing or all at once

Annual Shows
Annually we have our Summer show in May at Middlesbrough college, our big stage production in November at the Arc in Stockton and the baby Christmas show in December at Middlesbrough college

Our summer show, showcasing various songs and dance techniques and styles performed by students of all ages
ARC Production
Our ARC production is our annual showstopper, a sensational show performed by students age 7+
Baby Christmas Show
Our annual Christmas show starts the festive season performed by our younger students under 7
