I.D.S is the original performing arts school established on the estate in 2004 

I.D.S pupils can count on professional guidance in all aspects of dance and musical theatre

We are known to pupils as the I.D.S family

At I.D.S there is no competition but team spirit

Working hard but having loads of fun is key

At I.D.S there is no "best or worst"

Every pupil that wishes to and puts the work in gets time in the spotlight

I.D.S offer dance and performing art classes which start from age 3.  We are based in the new Community Hub on the Rings Ingleby Barwick. Classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

 

The classes we offer are:

TAP - BALLET - JAZZ - MODERN - COMMERCIAL - MUSICAL THEATRE - SINGING  

- ACRO and various workshops given by stage professionals and West End performers.  

 

I.D.S is a member of the British Association of Dance Teachers (B.A.T.D) and we offer the opportunity to take dance exams up to Associate level in Stage. 

 

We organise 3 to 4 performances per year to demonstrate the dance and theatre skills gained by the pupils. In addition, the pupils often get the opportunity to perform at organised events and are also encouraged to audition and participate in Musicals, Pantomimes and TV shows.
